Jesus is coming back to this earth as \u201cKing of Kings\u201d. His Father promised Him that in Psalm 2. \u201cYet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord has said to Me, You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your\u00a0 possession.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 2:6-8). Also, \u201cFor unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be on His shoulder\u2026Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord will perform this.\u201d<\/em> (Isaiah 9:6-7). Again, \u201cBehold the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a king shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.\u201d<\/em> (Jeremiah 23:5). And \u201cI was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man coming with the clouds of heaven\u2026then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away.\u201d <\/em>(Daniel 7:13-14).\u00a0 Also, in Revelation \u201cThese will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and King of kings.\u201d<\/em> (Revelation 17:14). \u201cAnd He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.\u201d<\/em> (Revelation 19:16)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, after destroying evil in the earth and the armies of the antichrist gathered together against Him, Jesus will assemble those who come to Him during His glorious parousia in Jerusalem and declare His kingdom. We will then crown Him almighty King in the place He has chosen to reign from, Jerusalem, Israel, earth. Jerusalem will then be recognized as the capital of the world. \u201cAt that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne Of The Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem.\u201d<\/em> (Jeremiah 3:17). \u201cThus says the Lord: I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.\u201d<\/em> (Zechariah 8:3).  \u201cAnd it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.\u201d<\/em> (Zechariah 14:16)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0What a wonderful world that will be when the government is on His shoulders! If you\u2019ve ever wondered what is the best system of governance for nations, the answer is clear; a kingdom. Of course, that\u2019s only true if you have a perfect king. And, that\u2019s what\u2019s coming.\u00a0 When Jesus reigns, it will be with perfect justice, righteousness, mercy, love, and compassion. He demonstrated this while He was here during His earthly ministry. While He will rule with a \u201crod of Iron\u201d keeping all evil under subjection, He will keep mankind from all wars, disease, natural disasters, hunger, poverty, and even death for all the resurrected saints. Satan will be locked up in the \u201cabyss\u201d so the great tempter of mankind will no longer be the \u201cgod of this world\u201d. The \u201ccurse\u201d that mankind has been under since Adam\u2019s fall in Eden will have been lifted. This curse that even affected all of creation will be noticeably absent as the \u201clion will lie down with the lamb\u201d<\/em> and \u201cthe nursing child shall play by the cobra\u2019s den\u201d.<\/em> (Isaiah 11:6’8). Long lifetimes will be restored to humanity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 We\u2019ve recently witnessed the enthronement of an earthly king as England\u2019s Prince Charles was installed as king. It was indeed a spectacular ceremony watched world-wide. Yet, all this pomp and ritual will pale in comparison to what will soon take place in Jerusalem. The entire world and the entire angelic realm will be present and observing as Jesus is crowned almighty King. No one will miss or fail to be a part of this event. \u201cGod has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father.\u201d <\/em>(Philippians 2:9-11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I need to add here that we will rule and reign with Him as kings and priests subject to His authority. As resurrected saints we will facilitate His rule as intermediaries between Him and natural mankind left on the earth at His coming. We\u2019ll all have government jobs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
